“Gallery Girls” Premiers Monday Night on Bravo

A new docu-series premiering Monday night on Bravo follows seven twentysomethings as they ferociously climb their way to the top of the New York City art scene.
Gallery Girls is being marketed as a Real Housewives-turned-Girls series, delving into the psyches of young New Yorkers as they struggle to find their way, all the while documenting the drama, gossip and social battles that inevitably define their daily lives.
The previews reveal an immediate division between those who work in Manhattan and those who hail from Brooklyn:
“There wasn’t so much a starting point or a big fight that made us not like each other,” said Maggie Schaffer, 24. “It’s just a very different scene between Brooklyn and Manhattan. You’ll definitely be able to tell the differences.”
Schaffer has interned at Christie’s New York and the Eli Klein Gallery, but her most poignant contribution to the art world is her opinion on Brooklynites: “They always get lipstick on their teeth and I hate that.”
Meet all seven of the Gallery Girls tonight at 10pm EST on Bravo.
