Photographs by Steven Klein on View at Berlin Gallery

Since the early 1990s, Steven Klein has been an established fixture in the fashion and art worlds, photographing some of the most prominent models, actors and designers of the era. His work has been exhibited at museums and galleries worldwide, from Gagosian to Deitch Projects. This season, Berlin’s CWC Gallery will host an exhibition dedicated to the photographer’s works, spanning over two decades.
Klein’s work is provocative and controversial, and his subjects– from Madonna and Victoria Beckham, to more recently Kate Moss and Lady Gaga– are often at the center of controversy themselves.
Included in the exhibition are photographs from the series “Case Study,” in which Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt are portrayed as the iconic American couple– ironically, or perhaps anachronistically, prior to their publicly-announced relationship.
The exhibition runs until 8 September.
