Run-down Van Gogh House Might Get a Facelift

The home where van Gogh resided for 7 months in 1878, at the ripe age of 25, might get a mandatory makeover. The house, located in the Borniage in western Belgium, has been unoccupied for some 20 years, left to rot and decay. Local authorities are attempting to purchase & restore it by 2015, when Mons, a neighboring city, will host a plethora of visitors as the European Capital of Culture.
